I've got my soft sides, my hard sides; my insides, my outside - and a more than ample backside. I am not a 'what you see is what you get' kind of guy, because I am a bit of a puzzle, even unto myself.

Permanence
Sea defences! Just look at the lower part of those upright sections - fighting a losing battle. Norfolk is getting nibbled away, falling into the North Sea. It is impersonal, inexorable. Goodbye Norfolk!
One day I must take photos of the river where I walk the dawg. The same thing is happening, but in my case, the trees are going to fall into the river, not that the river is going to take over Perth.
