Mutant Blairoids
I was listening to the radio this morning; to the interminable managerial-speak of a woman, who I assumed to be a member of the Adam Smith Institute, or some such Right wing 'think tank'. She was talking about the need to promote an 'entrepreneurial culture' among Britain's General Practioneers (doctors). Perhaps I should not have been surprised upon realising that I was listening to the Health minister, Patricia Hewitt. It could have been a member of Thatcher's cabinet. These mutant Blairoids give me the shivers.

"Think tank". I have always found that as a funny image. In the UK you wouldn't have these but in Australia we have "Rain water tanks". The rain falls onto one's roof on one's house and it drains into a tank which one keeps for summer and then uses the water. I get this image of all these thoughts falling onto a roof like rain and then going into the tank. The problem with rain water tanks is that birds fly by and shit on one's roof and then that gets into the tank as well. Maybe in the think tanks like you describe, the politicians are like the birds shitting on the roof and that pollutes all the clear water ideas. Graffiti
People are thirsty buggers and drink the tank water anyway, thinking it is gods natural gift without flouride and chlorine.
